Our Beliefs

We believe in the one true and living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who has revealed Himself through the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and the only final authority for faith and life. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
Redemption in Christ. We confess that mankind, fallen in Adam, is under the curse of sin and death. Yet redemption is found in Jesus Christ alone, the eternal Son of God, who took on flesh, lived a perfect and sinless life, offered Himself as the spotless Lamb of God upon the cross, and rose again the third day in power. “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22).
Salvation by Grace. We proclaim that sinners are justified before God not by works, but by grace through faith in Christ alone. Salvation is entirely the gift of God, applied by the renewing power of the Holy Spirit, who brings dead hearts to life. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
The Historic Faith. We hold to the historic Christian faith, standing firmly within the Reformed tradition. We gladly subscribe to the Westminster Standards as a faithful summary of biblical doctrine. “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 1:13).
Our Hope. We labor in hope for the day when the nations shall be gathered to worship the Lamb who was slain. Our eyes are set on that eternal promise: “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy… for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation” (Revelation 5:9). To this end, we live, labor, and worship, to the everlasting glory of God.
